Thomas Telford Students Shine Brightly

At 98%, Thomas Telford School again came close to achieving the coveted 100% for 5+ A*-C grade GCSEs including English and Mathematics which is the Government benchmark.

Sir Kevin Satchwell, Headmaster, commented: “This is again another remarkable performance from a school with students of all abilities. Everyone connected with the School is proud of the students’ performances. Like their teachers, they worked incredibly hard and we do receive excellent support from our parents.

For the fourth consecutive year, every student achieved at least two higher grades in Science and our value added figure of 1050 was the highest ever.” There were some remarkable individual performances including one student who achieved 14 A* Grades and a second who has13 A* Grades.
