History essay competition

Our Star Students this week are Kelly Thompson and Amardeep Randhawa in Year 10 who took part in the Living Rainforest "How on Earth Can We Save the Rainforest" essay competition and visited Berkshire to represent the School in the Living Rainforest debate.
Their essays, together with those submitted by Emily Beech and Giuseppe Sorrento, were short listed from 300 entries to receive a certificate. However, as the essays written by Kelly and Amardeep were awarded higher marks, they were chosen to take part in the debate which centred around why we should save the rainforests. Both students contributed some excellent ideas and Miss Jackson and Ms Mills were very proud of their performances.
Well done Amardeep and Kelly! Keep up the great work.
