Star Students this week are eight girls whose Telford based dance group, Click, took part in the European Street Dance Championships held in France recently. Laura Gibbons, Zoe McIntosh, Melissa Sterling, Tessa Skillen, Aimee Anderson, Demi Grundy, Danielle Bowater and Emmie Edwards make up four fifths of the group which is run by former TTS student, Sarah Gibbons.
Click not only qualified for the competition but also had to raise money to fund the trip to Euro Disney near Paris to take part. The girls competed in the Under 18 category and came through the first round and so qualified for the finals. Although Click did not make the top six, the girls received very positive feedback from the judges and hope to qualify for the next Championships and win a trophy.
