Kathryn Haynes, Daniella Nicholls and Grace Kendrick

Star Students this week are Kathryn Haynes (6.2), Daniella Nicholls (6.1) and Grace Kendrick (Year 11) who have all recently gained the prestigious Gold Award from the Royal School of Church Music for their outstanding singing and choral leadership skills.
This award, the equivalent of a Grade 8 in Music and worth a number of UCAS points, is the result of many hours of rehearsing and individual lessons. The girls were examined on eight different pieces of music including essays on some of them.
Daniella Nicholls achieved one of the highest possible marks in the West Midlands for the Award and, as a result of their achievements, the girls have all been offered scholarships to join the Wolverhampton Civic Choir.
